    Gorgeous bed, great price

    I took a risk purchasing this bed without having any reviews to go on so I am happy to write the first review myself and offer some details. I purchased it in May for delivery in August. August came and went but I understand these things can be delayed at the moment so I didn't bother to get in touch until October. In october I was told that I would not receive my bed until February at the earliest. This was terribly disappointing to me but then to my amazement I received a shipping notification the very next week! Not sure what the confusion was but was happy to receive my bed in November. Delivery went smoothly, and the bed was very well packaged in 3 parts. Almost too well as it took a lot of work to remove all of the cardboard but I'm glad that it was packed with care and in perfect condition. For the most part assembly was straightforward but I did end up having to use a drill and it definitely requires two people, ideally one with a fair bit of strength for pyshing the slats in place. Once assembled the bed is very solid and quite beautiful. The velvet material is a soft pale pink exactly as pictured, any creases from packing came out with a little bit of steam. This bed is a perfect dupe for West Elm's 'Lana' bed at a fraction of the price. It looks and feels sturdy and expensive. I am quite pleased with my purchase and would use wazo again.
